United States GP: A few facts about the newest #F1 circuit
► Made up of 11 left and nine right turns, the Circuit of the Americas is 5.516km (3.4 miles) long. It is one of just five current F1 circuits to run anti-clockwise, the others being Singapore, Korea, Abu Dhabi and Brazil. Curiously, all five circuits feature in the final seven-race stretch of the 2012 season.

Djokovic beat Federer to win the ATP World Tour finals in London and immediately dedicated the victory to his father who has been badly ill. Djokovic was going from London to visit his father in intensive care, taking the trophy to cheer him up. Such humanisation of tennis stars helps to bring the sport new followers who will be behind the Serb next year as he tries to retain his number one spot for another year.
Texas F1 Grand Prix: The Circuit of the Americas
Formula One is returning to the USA after too long a break. The new circuit will be the Circuit of the Americas, which replicates various corners from circuits around the world. There is an elevation change of 133 feet over the length of the 3.4 mile circuit. There is capacity for 120,000 fans, all of whom should be in for a racing treat. Mario Andretti is the last American to win the F1 championship and he is looking forward to the return of Formula ONe to the USA.
